Electric guitar with legendary double-cutaway RG body shape from GIO series that delivers classic style, tone and playability of the iconic Ibanez RG. It features a poplar body and a bolt-on maple GRG neck that is carved into a fast, comfortable profile and fitted with a smooth-playing rosewood fingerboard which carries 24 jumbo frets for effortless string bending and white dot inlays. The headstock is completed in black to match the body and is in a familiar and sharp Gio shape. Scale length is 648 mm, nut width is 43 mm. The guitar is equipped with a pair of Infinity R humbuckers that provide the ability to create fat rhythm tones and screaming leads that will cut through the mix. The pickups are wired through a straightforward control layout that consists of a Master Volume, Master Tone and 3-way switch. Other features include a hard tail bridge for precise and consistent string intonation and sleek black hardware including sturdy Ibanez tuning machines. In stark contrast to the sharp black finish, Ibanez have fitted what they describe as a Panther pickguard which makes a superb addition to this already full-character electric guitar.
