Utilising new larger Mesh Pads that have been specially designed and made for this Kit, the DTX6K5-M combines the DTX-PRO Drum Trigger Module, complete with its updated Samples and features, the unique Kit Modifiers, and its DTX Touch App control, the new Kit is the first of the DTX6 range to use Mesh Pads.

Larger, specially designed Pads

The 12" Snare Mesh Pad and the three 10" Mesh Tom Pads offer 2-Zone triggering for expressive playing and Remo 2-ply heads and make the DTX6K5-M the largest Kit of all the DTX6 range. The DTX6K5-M also comes with all 3-Zone Cymbal Pads - two PCY135 Crash Pads, a PCY155 Ride Pad - and a RHH135 Hi-Hat Pad on its own full Hi-Hat Stand. The Kit features one XP120L-M, which is 12" in diameter and used as the Snare Pad. It uses four sensors for two Zones, offering uniquely accurate precision. The other three Drum Pads are XP100L-M 10" Pads, also separated into Head and Rim Zones. All Drum Pads are equipped with Remo 2-ply Mesh Heads that give an authentic feel with realistic rebound and minimum noise.

The authenticity of any electronic kit is only as good as its Module – luckily, the Yamaha DTX6K5-M comes with the DTX-PRO Drum Trigger Module, loaded with outstandingly real Samples of acoustic kits and creatively designed electronic kits and fresh from its OS Version 2 Update. All kits can be instantly adapted via the three unique Kit Modifier Knobs for Ambience, Comp, and Effect, leading to perfect results in no time. With the new DTX Touch App, all parameters can be adjusted quickly and comfortably on a iOS or Android phone, tablet, or Mac computer.
