Picture Varnish Matt is a classical synthetic resin varnish with matting beeswax for Oil, Acrylic and tempera paintings. It forms a transparent and elastic film which dries quickly and with a matt finish. Lukas Picture Varnish doesn't turn yellow. You can use turpentine Oil or white spirit to dissolve or dilute. A varnish is the final protective layer that protects the Oil painting from harmful influences and premature aging.
