Justin Hurwitz is an American film composer and television writer known for his close partnership with director Damien Chazelle. He composed the scores for all of Chazelle's films, including Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench, Whiplash, La La Land, First Man, and Babylon. Hurwitz is acclaimed for his work on La La Land, which earned him two Academy Awards and multiple Golden Globes and a BAFTA. He also received Golden Globe Awards for his music in First Man and Babylon.
