More Accurate, Faster, and Easier

The ARC 4 measurement software features a new, more accurate algorithm for measuring, evaluating, and modeling room acoustics. The application guides you through the room acoustics measurement process, which would otherwise require an experienced acoustic engineer. You can complete the analysis of your listening environment within minutes. Two modes are available:

• Advanced Mode: 21 measurement points and 3 different measurement layers
• Quick Mode: 7 measurement points

Once the measurement is complete, the software generates a 3D acoustic model of your space and a correction profile, which can be applied either as a plug-in in your DAW or saved to the ARC Studio processor.

Customize Your Listening Experience

Room correction can be customized with several optimized options to best suit different use cases, room types, and individual user needs. ARC 4 offers precise control over each profile, ensuring it always sounds just as you prefer. The available options include:

• Measurement: Allows you to set the characteristics of the space where measurement and playback occur, such as a Home Recording Studio.
• Target: The system comes with 9 curves for most listening situations. The default curve offers optimally balanced results, while other specific curves cater to different needs or settings.
• Virtual Monitoring: To check how your mix performs in various situations and on different types of speakers, you no longer need to test it in a car or on portable players. With ARC 4, you have access to precisely modeled iconic studio monitors and common listening setups, enabling you to thoroughly examine your work's results from the comfort of your studio within minutes.
• Variable Resolution and Smoothing: You can adjust the resolution/precision of the correction filter to use more frequency bands for detailed correction, or fewer bands for broader, smoother correction.
• Two Phase Modes: Natural and Linear modes ensure precise stereo imaging and phase coherence between channels.
  • Natural: Naturally improves phase response.
  • Linear: Preserves the original phase differences between channels.
