Hot Tuna is an American blues rock band founded in 1969 by Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady, both formerly of Jefferson Airplane. Known for their dynamic blend of rock and blues, the group has featured a rotating lineup of musicians, but has always revolved around the collaboration between Kaukonen and Casady.
