Steven Ellison, known as Flying Lotus or FlyLo, is an American producer, DJ, filmmaker, and rapper. He is acclaimed for his genre-blending albums, including 1983, Los Angeles, Cosmogramma, Until the Quiet Comes, You're Dead, Flamagra, and Yasuke. Beyond his solo work, he founded the influential label Brainfeeder, created music for Adult Swim, released rap projects as Captain Murphy, hosted FlyLo FM in Grand Theft Auto V, and directed the sci-fi horror film Ash.
