Gyratec XIV by Antelope Audio is a stereo passive tube equaliser plugin developed in collaboration with Gyraf Audio. Inspired by the legendary Pultec passive EQP design, it uses the same parallel filter topology as its famous predecessor while extending the capabilities with five individual bands and 11 switchable frequencies per band — offering 55 individual frequency choices for boosting or cutting.

Extended Passive EQ Design

Gyratec XIV builds upon the classic parallel passive filter topology, where boost and cut controls interact musically rather than simply adding or subtracting gain. With five fully independent bands instead of the traditional two or three, it provides far greater flexibility for detailed tonal sculpting.

55 Frequency Choices

Each of the five bands offers 11 selectable frequency points, providing a total of 55 discrete frequency options across the spectrum. This extensive frequency selection allows for precise targeting of specific frequency ranges while maintaining the smooth, musical character inherent to passive EQ designs.

Tube-Enhanced Character
