Designed for the sound engineer who needs professional mixing without the channel count of a large-format console, the Yamaha TF-1 handles 16 analogue D-PRE microphone inputs and scales to 40 channels in total. The TouchFlow Operation touchscreen makes it equally at home in corporate AV, house of worship, and touring applications.

Input and Output Layout

Sixteen analogue D-PRE inputs accept microphone and line signals, supplemented by 2× 2TR stereo returns and USB audio. Sixteen XLR outputs distribute main, monitor, and auxiliary feeds. The 34 × 34 USB multitrack interface enables simultaneous live recording and virtual soundcheck playback from a computer.

Processing and Effects

Parametric EQ and dual dynamics processing are applied per channel, alongside an 8-processor effects library covering reverb, delay, chorus, and modulation. Ten graphic EQs shape the 20 AUX bus outputs (8 mono + 6 stereo). The 1-Knob Compressor and 1-Knob EQ streamline on-the-fly adjustments during a performance.

Scene Management and GainFinder

Scene memories capture every parameter of the mix — input gains, EQ, dynamics, routing — for instant recall between performances or event types. GainFinder provides visual gain-setting assistance, reducing setup time in unfamiliar venues. An optional rack mounting kit (RK5014) is available separately for fixed installation.

Software and Dante Expansion

A Steinberg Nuendo Live licence is included, turning the TF-1 into a fully functional live recording system. Dante networking can be added via the optional NY64-D expansion card. Dimensions: 510 × 599 × 225 mm, weight: 13.5 kg.
