Compact yet powerful, the PreSonus StudioLive SE 16R is an 18-channel digital rack mixer that fits full-scale mixing capabilities into a single rack unit. Equipped with 16 XMAX-R recallable mic preamps and FLEX DSP Fat Channel processing, it delivers studio-grade EQ and compression on every input and bus.

Recallable Preamps

All 16 onboard XMAX-R preamps store and recall their gain settings digitally, ensuring consistent sound from show to show. Each preamp offers a gain range of 0 dB to 60 dB with a signal-to-noise ratio of 94 dB and total harmonic distortion below 0,005 %.

Flexible Mix Architecture

Six FlexMixes can be individually configured as aux, subgroup, or matrix mixes, adapting to diverse live and studio scenarios. Two dedicated FX mixes with stereo returns and six DCAs provide precise control over complex routing setups.

Integrated Recording

A continuously bidirectional 18×18 USB 2.0 audio interface enables multitrack recording directly to a computer, while onboard stereo SD capture offers a quick backup option. Virtual Soundcheck with Capture software allows engineers to replay recorded tracks through the mixer for fine-tuning without the band present.

Milan-Certified Networking

Built-in Milan-certified AVB networking provides plug-and-play connectivity with StudioLive Series III consoles, NSB stageboxes, and EarMix 16M personal monitor mixers. Per-channel source switching between analog, USB, SD, and AVB inputs simplifies hybrid setups.

Remote and Wireless Control

Universal Control software enables full wireless mixing from a computer or tablet, including an Offline Editor for scene preparation. QMix-UC with Wheel of Me gives performers direct control over their personal monitor mixes from a mobile device.
