SPIRIT OF THE BEEHIVE is an indie rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, named after the 1973 Spanish film. Led by Zack Schwartz, previously of Glocca Morra, the band is known for their experimental and genre-blending sound. Since their self-titled debut in 2014, they have released several acclaimed records, including Pleasure Suck, Hypnic Jerks, Entertainment Death, and their latest album YOU'LL HAVE TO LOSE SOMETHING in 2024. The group has also put out the EP i'm so lucky and has toured with artists like Japanese Breakfast, Ride, Alex G, and Dry Cleaning, building a reputation for their unique approach to indie rock.
