The Balalaiker Sputnik is a long-awaited model of a balalaika with a five-piece body.
This type of balalaika was popular in pre-revolutionary Russia and was later inherited by the Soviet music industry. Some factories were still producing similar balalais in the 1990s.
The main features: the medium-sized body made of five wooden parts made of maple, birch and the top plate is made of solid spruce. The maple neck is fitted with a birch fingerboard with white dots. Varnished surface treatment.
