Gossip is an American indie rock band from Searcy, Arkansas, formed in 1999. The group is best known for the powerful vocals of Beth Ditto, the musicianship of Nathan "Brace Paine" Howdeshell, and energetic drumming by Hannah Blilie. Blending post-punk, indie rock, and dance-rock, Gossip gained international attention with their 2006 album Standing in the Way of Control and continued their success with Music for Men in 2009. After disbanding in 2016, the band reunited for a tour in 2019 and returned with the album Real Power in 2024.
