AR Print and instax Connect — Two Features You Won't Find Elsewhere

AR Print embeds a QR code on the photo that, when scanned with a phone camera, triggers one of five augmented-reality effects — Special FX, Text, Doodle, Photo, or Background. instax Connect lets the sender attach a message to a digital image, share it via text or email, and receive replies back on the same photo, which can then be saved and printed.

Bluetooth Connectivity and Two Print Modes

Bluetooth replaces the older Wi-Fi of the SP-3, making pairing with iOS or Android faster. Two image-processing modes are available: instax-Natural mode delivers the classic INSTAX look, while instax-Rich mode (the default) boosts saturation. The app also includes over 1,600 stickers, Editable Print for collages, Sketch/Edit/Print for handwritten overlays, and Video Print.
