Silk medium. Anti-spread medium Anti-spread prevents your paint from spreading across the silk. By applying it, the pores of the fabric close, so you no longer need to use gutta. It is applied to stretched silk using a brush or sponge. You can treat a selected area or the entire piece of fabric. Once dry, you can paint without worrying about the colours bleeding. This auxiliary is ideal for painting and for creating lampshades.
